The Cottage
A peaceful countryside cottage designed especially for whippets and their owners.
Whippet Cottage is a calm North Yorkshire retreat with two bedrooms, enclosed outdoor space and open-plan living designed to feel relaxed, comfortable and easy for both owners and hounds.
Whippets are welcome throughout the cottage, including on sofas and beds, just as they are in most whippet homes.
Our prices range from £120 per night to £156 per night during peak season, plus a £32 service charge per stay. We keep things simple and transparent, so there are no hidden extras or unexpected costs when you come to book.

Enjoy complete independence in this detached holiday home. While the cottage is located near our main house and shares our entrance drive, your privacy is our priority. We are close by if you need anything, but otherwise left entirely to your own devices
Outside
The cottage opens onto a sunny, enclosed courtyard - a safe and peaceful spot for morning coffee or a quiet evening.
Beyond that, you’re welcome to enjoy the orchard and surrounding land. It’s a lovely place to wander, sit with a book, or simply let your whippets potter and relax.

We live in a more built-up area, so it was wonderful to see them completely switch off and relax. The orchard was the highlight - a safe, open space where they could run, explore and just be whippets. They loved the freedom.
